It's time for the Bead Soup Party Blog Hop first reveal..
Many thanks to our host and creator of this wonderful event, Lori Anderson, of Pretty Things Blog

I was thrilled to have Lee Anne Messerschmidt selected as my partner for the 7th Bead Soup Party, she sent a beautiful soup mix of greens and purples in Czech glass and enameled steel that she created.

While I loved everything about this soup mix as I worked along I felt my skill level wasn't quite up to working with the stiffer steel pieces...I did incorporate some but I did hold some back until I have a chance to practice a bit more with steel wire..might sound silly but I just couldn't face ruining them.
I wanted to used the focal that Lee Anne made as a dangle bit..attached that to a ceramic flower I had made..Lee Anne also made the enameled wire beads..

Please visit Lori's blog to find a full list of participants and their links

Please hop over to Lee Anne's blog to see what wonderful things she created from the bead soup I sent ..

I'm stuggling with working with steel wire at this very moment and decided to take a break and see some reveals. How fun that I started here and discovered I'm not the only one! Despite that you have created a beautiful piece here. I love the the palette and all the textures, it's really beautiful

Thanks for your comments, everyone.
Maria Rosa..I must admit that out of all 7 Bead Soup events this was the most challenging for me and i reworked this several times. Each time I thought it was done and took the photos I'd see some placement wasn't right or other design issue popped up..
the colors of the soup mix, were perfect, all the bits were lovely..but I'd never worked with enameled steel wire and smaller beads..Of course BSPBhop is all about being challenged ..and it was fun..though a little humbling

sigh, I know what you mean. I was wrapping a leaf, holding it firmly so as to protect it I thought, only I snapped it in half, made me sad. Nice organic feel to yours, wonderful soup to play with!
